Our Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year we were able to go down to St. George and stay at Gary and Kathy's condo. We had a really good time and we were able to do a lot of fun things. The first night there, we had a good dinner and played games with Cam's cousins. On Thanksgiving day, we were able to throw the softball around and go on a hike up Snow Canyon. There were a few caves that we were able to go in and it was a really fun time! But that night we watched a movie with the whole family and then left for Monroe to cut down our Christmas tree. Overall, the weekend was really fun and we had such a good time!!

...My Latest Project...

This is my latest project! I got together with friends Ashley and Jessica on Saturday to have a craft day. Ashley was the one that came up with the idea and taught us how to do it. I think we worked on it for five hours straight and had such a fun time doing it! We decided that we should do a new project every month. I am so happy with how it turned out and I can't wait to make more things to decorate our home!!

I think it looks pretty good on my little table!!

Halloween Half Marathon

I was able to do a half marathon with one of my good friends Kim yesterday. It started about 3 miles above Sundance and ended at the Riverwoods mall in Provo. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work. Kim and I have been training for the past couple months and it was definitely worth it! About the ninth mile both of my calves started cramping and I swore I would never run another one in my life, but I am already looking for another one to do! It really is addicting!!

...Carving Pumpkins...

A few nights ago Cam and I decided that we needed to carve our pumpkins that had been sitting on our kitchen floor for the past week. So we decided to make one my favorite recipes of all times while we did it. We made caramel sauce and dipped my grandma's apples in it. (Just a tip for people who are melting the little caramels in your microwave, don't put it in for two minutes and leave!! It will make a huge mess of your microwave and dish!!) After we finished cleaning up the huge mess, we were able to dip our apples and have a good time. We watched Karate Kid while we carved and had a really great night!!
